Jay Cartisano was promoted President of CBS in January of 2012. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President of Sales Operations for our Connecticut and New York locations since January 2010. Previously he held the position of Vice President of Sales where he was awarded the prestigious Sales Vice President of the Year award from CBS’ parent company, Global Imaging Systems, Inc. in 2008 and 2009. Jay began his career with CBS in 1990 as an Account Representative. He was recognized with the Sales Representative of the Year award for 5 consecutive years before being promoted to Sales Manager, Branch Sales Manager and then Vice President of Sales. Jay holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Ohio University.
Alyssa Le began her career with Connecticut Business Systems in 2000 as a Staff Accountant. She was promoted to Controller in 2004 and nine years of mentoring by Walter Pistel, CFO culminated in her appointment to CFO in June 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting from University of Hartford. Alyssa resides in Newington, Connecticut with her husband and two sons.
Steven Berry serves as Vice President of Operations and has been with CBS since 1994. Prior to being promoted to his current position in 2007, he was Administrative Manager. Steve has twenty years of administrative and operational management experience in both the public, Massachusetts Board of Regional Community Colleges and Middlesex Community College, and private sector at Dorr-Oliver an engineering firm based in CT. Steve has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell.
Giana Carducci started with CBS over 10 years ago as an HR Assistant in 2003. She was promoted to HR Manager in 2005 and has held her current role as Director of HR since 2011. Giana holds a B.A. in Communications from Fairfield University and has her HR Certification from Villanova University.
Before joining CBS, Dan served as the Director of Enterprise Mobility Platforms, Enterprise Client Connectivity and Executive Support Services for Aetna from 2009 – 2014. Prior to this, he worked in an Engineering capacity as the Subject Matter Expert in various technical disciplines to include Email, Collaboration, and Server Hardware and Operating Systems. His career at Aetna spanned fifteen years (2000-2014) including two years as a consultant. Dan was promoted six times during his tenure at Aetna and participated in Leadership and Diversity programs while in their employ.
Previous to Aetna, Dan served in the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge in 1999. While serving for the USAF, Dan helped design and implement the first Department of Defense secure messaging system. Dan graduated USAF technical training with honors and holds an Associate Degree in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
Dan has also served on two non-profit Boards of Directors holding President and Information Officer Positions.
R. Stephen Velardi began his career at CBS in October of 1998 as an Account Representative covering the Hartford marketplace. After seeing tremendous success in that marketplace he was promoted into a mentorship role followed by a supervisor’s position. Stephen was recognized as a Global Leader in 2001 and has since been promoted to manager, branch manager, General Manager and was most recently promoted to Vice President of Sales in January of 2012. Throughout his tenure with CBS Stephen has been honored with multiple awards based on overachievement of performance on a consistent basis. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
